sleepless nights

why is it as a mother u have those long sleepless nights. oh ya its called ur baby is crying and screaming for hours and nothing and i mean nothing sooths them. you try nursing, rocking, patting, tylenol, anything but to no avail. then it hits 4 am and you are out of steam. husband heads to work and you put your baby in his crib. why? because if you dont you will lose it. fall asleep for an hour or so and everyone else is up. get kids off to school, hurry and shower. preschooler off and then its to the doctor where the baby is as happy as can be. that is when u find out your little one has an ear infection. wahoo.. atleast we can fix the problem. take antibotics and one nap later and both mommy and baby are a little more happy. now with tylenol is his system he is fast asleep and hopefully mommy will get a little more sleep tonight. and with that said i am so glad that we are done having kids...
