awards assembly

 today was the last of school and so comes the last awards assembly.. all of my boys have done really well in school this year.. today though was wyatts big day.

 he had earned the presidental award, honor roll, a reading award from the local elks lodge, and he

 got a 10 gift card to walmart for having the most a.r points in the school.. im not one to brag but i have to about this day..

 after school i grabbed the kids and we went to burger king as a treat and to celebrate the end of school..

 the kids seemed to have a good time.. now let the summer craziness begin...

kindergarten program

carter and the rest of his kindergarten class did there year end program today.. he did a really good job and am so proud of him and what he has accomplished this year.. he is even reading too..well now it is off to the 1st grade..wow..A-

rock the halls

the boys school this year did a way to reward the kids who earned so many a.r. points..(accelerated reader)..if u read a book and took the test on it you could then earn these points.. i think it was if u got to 100 u got to rock the halls.. wyatt earned it months ago but cameron earned it..i was so proud of them.. a few of there friends have earned it too.  good job boys.. A-

happy birthday emmett

my baby--baby boy turned 2 yestderday.. it was a good day for him.. we had chicken nuggets and fries for dinner and then cake.  ( me attempt at decorating seemed to work).. we also got bubbles, chalk, cars and a ball from grandma and grandpa merrifeld.. we are buying him a tricycle or a car but havnt decided yet.. all is all it was fun.. but it also did make me realize that i am truly in the next stage of life.. no longer having babies.. no one ever tells you when u are younger about this.. all they say is you are going to grow up get married and have kids.. this phase is still new to me.  it doesnt really sadden me at all.. its just strange.. all though i am super excited.. one more year till we are out of diapers and that really excits me..but to my little boy i love you and am so grateful that you came to our family.. you challange me and love me everyday.. you are so funny and curious and def very fast on your toes.  love you forever..happy birthday my 2 year old..A-
