well wyatt had some bday money that he has been dying to spend. he finally got to go spend it today. he got this game. remember this??? remember when it came out?? i do.. i was wyatt's age or maybe a year older. we started playing and of course corey had to get in on the action 1st. crazy it has come back full circle as a 25th anniversary edition..A-

spring break

this is what we woke up to on monday morning. of course it was our 1st day of spring break. thank goodness it had all metled by the afternoon..

outside...

the kids were finally able to play outside this past weekend and boy was i glad. they were so much more tired and much more happy after getting out and getting some fresh air. they were able to play hard both sat and sunday.. please spring come soon...

well corey and i purchased a 1/4 of a cow this year hoping to increase our food storage and help out with the food budget. well this cow is so good. we had steaks on sunday for lunch and it was so tender. all i can say is yummy...

emmett loves books

emmett has discovered books. he and his sister have a good time reading them together. he has riuned a few lately but that has happened with all the kids. i am just glad that he likes them

so emmett has this thing with doors. he loves to open then and to close them. also loves to do the same thing with drawers. i dont remember a child being so obsessed with the whole door thing but its cute and it keeps him entertained...A-

well my folks were in town this past weekend and it was fun to see them. we helped them with yard work and got to visit and play too. we had "doughnut day" friday after school instead of sat morning because they were leaving sat morning. the kids always look forward to doughnuts and chocolate milk with grandma and grandpa. tiff my sister also came up and that was fun too. our babies are 2 weeks apart and they seemed just intruigued my each other. it was a quick trip for them but glad they could come and visit. love u mom and dad..A-

new clothes...11/30

i dont want to brag but i got new clothes this week and am soooooooooo excited. i have not had new clothes in like 2 years. areopostle was having a killer sale and i found some awesome things. plus down east outfiitters was clearing out some things and i got a dress and this cute gray sweater for 14 bucks. wahoo.. sometimes it is just so nice to do something for yourself..

well yes i once was one of those crazy coupon ladies who could get 100 bucks in groceries for like 20 bucks. well i stopped before emmett was born because life was so crazy. well now that he is older i have decided to pick up the coupon habit again and give it a go.. we shall see if it is as fun as i remember...

the kids were playing outside today which was super nice. hopefully that is a sign to come because i am ready to get outside and play and get my yard looking good again..

so i finished my stockings today and even made a small tree skirt too (but not out of denim)..they are cute and hopefully i will still like them at christmas...lol

well this pile of flannel and denim will hopefully be new christmas stockings. i ripped the levis apart this week and then have not had a chance to even start working on them due to the "flu" in this house. ugh i hate winter and am in desperate need of spring...

emmett and the toliet....4/30

so emmett had this thing with the toliet. he loves to play in it.. it is so gross sometimes too esp when his brothers have not flushed. i have asked and asked the kids to keep the lids down and the the door closed. without fail it still happens. well today was one of those days and he found the door open and the lid open.... and yes stuff in it. i know i know soooooo gross. but i had to catch it on video and then he was in the tub for a good scrubbing... A-

so samantha is always trying to help me cook. even though sometimes it is more work she loves to help. we had breakfast for dinner tonight. she always wants to crack the eggs. sometimes its good and well others not so pretty..tonight it was a good night for helping...A-

10 months old.....2/30

so emmett turned 10 months today. i still cant believe that. he is doing much better after being sick and is getting over thrush. ugh... but he is a happy baby. he is now saying mama which makes me happy. he is crusing around furniture and almost lets go at times. whenever the bathroom is open he heads straight for the toliet and thinks its helarious to play in it. which of course makes mommy mad, he also loves to play on his own and hates it when his brothers pick him up. he still loves to snuggle and to nurse. oh what a cute baby i have. still cant believe how big he is and that he is my last. bitter sweet... A-

30 pictures in 30 days

so my sister is taking this challange of doing 30 pictures posts in 30 days. so i decided that i was going to try it and see if i could do it. well the last post is my first one. so lets see how the next 30 days go. things are better here. the kids are all finally feeling better. emmett is doing well and we decided not to wein him. his thrush is still here but not as bad. he is feeling better and is much happier too. hopefully we can stay healthy...A-

wyatts party

so wyatt had a friend party friday night to celebrate his bday. we had 5, 10 year olds at my house till about 10 pm. they had way to much fun stuffing themselves with candy and food. they played video games, kinda watched a movie and then i sent them outside to play for awhile around 9 pm. they played football and had a great time. plus i think it worked out most of the sugar that they had eaten. it was fun and i am glad that we did it for wyatt.

here we go again

so i lysol bombed the hell out of my house yesterday hoping all the germs would go away. the kids had the day off so there were a little help when it came to emmett and the mop water. the seeemed to fight more yesterday than they had in a while and i wished they were in school. after buying from the caselot sell and getting it all put away tuesday night i was already tired. but i wanted to get my house clean. i just felt like it was covered in boogers. got everything clean, washed everyones sheets and got emmett to bed. amen. showered and drank a dr.pepper (thanks to my friend katie) and was feeling good. then emmett woke up with a 102 fever. i was thinking pnuemonia they way he was breathing. i ended up back at the doctors. his 02 level was fine and his lungs were good. but here's the kicker. he has thrush. omg. thrush. so off the antibotics and it is weining him from nursing. this sucks. also his butt is yeasty and burnt from the anitbotics and him teething. this poor kid has it bad. hopefully things will get better. i am just praying things go well the next few days. he seems to be in a good mood but that can change in an instant. i just want spring to get here so i can send my kids outside and air out my house..A-
