emmetts new laugh

emmett has been doing this new laugh latley and its pretty funny. it is a very saracastic laugh and he has been that a lot latley. he is also walking everywhere, climbing everything including my dinning roon table. he is just getting to be so fun.

and kids are begging for the sprinkler and a popsicle... thats how u know its summer

relay for life

i went and particpated in the relay for life this past saturday. it was an awsome experience. i walked the track for an hour. i think i did 2 to 3 miles. it was awesome just to see how many people wanted to support the cause and get out to help. so many there had been affected by this nasty disease. i am just glad i was able to be there and feel the vibe of love that was in the air.. it was awesome and i will definitly do it again..

lake front property

my grandma's property is right next to the snake river, which of course is above flood stage this year..well this it what her yard does. it has happened the past few years. we love going out there and enjoying the water and being outside. this kids think it is a blast. hopefully things will be ok and it wont get any worse. in 97 it was really bad and it got into her basment. the experts say this year it could get that bad again with all the snow still up in the mountains. well i quess we shall see but for now we are having fun..

he is a walker...

emmett has been taking steps for a month now but is really starting to take off and i am loving it...i think he is too. it is so cute to watch him walk/waddel..he is so proud of himself.. also with in the past few days he has figured out that he can climb. he is climbing everything.. couches, tables, and chairs.. kinda scary and he is definitly not afraid...A-

baby fruit

so i am super excited. i have baby plums in my tree. wahoo.. i was kinda worrried because i really trimmed the tree back last year but nope i got plenty. plus i will have plenty of peaches and apples oh and pears too.. thanks to my moms trees. i cant wait to can it all.... well maybe i can wait to can it all...

stupid wheather

so i am blamming my awful grouchy attitude to this yucky wheather we are having. we had a beautiful day yesterday until the winds changed and the storms came in. today i woke up to cloudy skies and rain. ugh..this sucks..it is supposed to be sunny and nice not this crap we are in. so it does not help when my kids get all whiney cuz of this wheather either. maybe i just need to get away instead of complain but omg i want sunshine. anyway i am grouchy today..sorry world..A-

dirt + boy = happy

emmett is in love with the dirt. even eating it which is totally gross. but none the same he is super happy outside and loves it. esp when he is playing with the other kids in the dirt. who knows maybe he will do it for a living when he is older..

everythings bloomin

we have these beautiful lilac bushes in our driveway (thanks to our neighbors) but i am not complaining. this time of year they are beautiful and they smell sooooo good. i love just walking outside and inhailing it all. to bad they only last a few weeks..

DAWSON FAMILY REUNION

every memorial weekend for the past 11 years we have had our family reunion here.

this year we had snow and lots of it. it was kinda fun to be up in the mountains and enjoy it. even though it was the end of may it was still cool.

we had alot of fun. we played a ton of games, ate way to much food and laughed a whole lot. we also had a dance party sunday night and everyone had fun..

and this is how we slept or sometimes not with everyone together, on air matress in a big room.

we had fun and are sad we cant go back to the lodge next year due to construction.. hopefully we

can find something just as good..love u all dawsons it was awesome this year..
