wyatts 10th birthday

my son turned 10 today. i still cant believe i have a 10 year old. i can still remember when the doctors put him in my arms and the glee that corey had when they said he was a boy. wyatt is a great big brother, a good helper. loves to read and learn new things. is like his mom in attitude which is a bad thing sometimes. but he also has a soft heart. he loves to play with friends and loves to play video games.. omg he is 10..A

pinewood derby

corey and wyatt had the pinewood derby for scouts this week. they had a good time and wyatt was proud of his car. (even though corey did all the work)..he is now a weblow scout. holy cow where had the time gone..

wyatts science project

wyatt had a science project due this week. it was actually fun to do with him even though it took daily reminders. he did "would soda eat through steel " well a nail anyway. he recorded the info and we took pictures for 20 days. it did well and mtn dew did the best. he got an A and i was so proud..

rsv and everything in between

so i thought this would be just a normal busy with a science project due and a pinewood durby. well to top it off i have been to the doctors office 3 days this week along with the pharmacy. they were all laughing at me by day 3. ok so i was too. cameron has an ear infection, carter and corey have sinus infections and to top it off samantha was diagnosed with rsv yesterday. ya i know it sucks. atleast everyone is drugged up at the moment and emmett seems to be ok too. hopefully he can avoid all this crap and stay healthy but i am no counting on it. we shall see how the rest of the week goes. wish me luck. i am going to need it. marathon mommy

do you ever have one of those days when u get a twinge to do something and then all of a sudden you have done more than u barragned for. well saturday was one of those days. the laundry and chores were done from the night before cuz i did not want to have to go anywhere. so the kids and i got up and got moving. breakfast, dressed etc. kids were playing and were happy. ya so far. samantha and i then made cookies. yummy. they were oatmeal with chocolate and peanut butter chips. put emmett down for a nap and then i did it. i ended up making 3 batches of strawberry jam. why? well i went into the basement to get a jar to make a sandwhich and there was no strawberry jam.. my favorite. had everything i needed in the house to make it so i did. now i should be good for a couple of months. cleaned up all the mess. kids were happy and the rest of the day went well. and i almost made bread. ya i know crazy. but hey it was good day. now its monday and its laundry, chores and all those things you have to do at the beginging of a week. now i just hope the rest of the week goes well...A-

my birthday

well my bday was yesterday. i turned 33. yep 33. i dont know how that happened. i am a mother of 5. and finally a stay at home mother at that. i have worked for 12 years as a medical assistant and loved every minute. but it is sure nice to be at home. i also have a wonderful husband who i have been married to for 11 years. yesterday was any normal day with errands, cleaning etc. but i did get to get all prettied up and got to go on a date with my husband. so nice with no kids. we went to stockmans here in town. great steak place with awesome sweet potato fries. oh my gosh were they good. then came home and had this lovely chocoalte satin pie. yummy. then it was putting kids to bed and relaxing. a pretty good day i think. oh ya i did get some new black boots and some new makeup. valentines day

for valentines day we did a nice spagetti dinner on friday night with the kids. everyone loved it and i made some jalepeno poppers appitizers which were really good too and way easy. we ended up on monday doing pizza from papa murphys and a cheescake. it was fun..

wyatt's science project

so the elementary school puts on a sciene fair each year. this year wyatt is doing this project.. will soda eat through metal (nail). we shall see how is goes. it is due on the 25th. good luck. buddy..

local 449 family bowling night

sat night the local 449 that corey belongs to put on a family bowling night. they had pizza and all the bowling u wanted until 9 pm. we just bowled one game but the kids had a great time. samantha eneded up winning with a score of 105.

tj's party

coreys nephew turned two last saturday and we went down for the party. the kids had a good time playing with their cousins and the cupcakes and ice cream. thanks sheri for the invite..

samantha's haircut

so samantha refuses to let me do her hair let alone brush it. so corey and i decided she needed her hair cut. i took her to the girl that did my hair. she did pretty well and we cut it to her shoulders. it looks really good on her too..

emmett's bathtime

whenever it is emmett's bathtime samantha has to get in as well. emmett has now figured out that he can splash his sister pretty well. of course when they get going i and the entire bathroom are soaked. but hey atleast they are having a good time..

soooooooooooooooo cold

so the wheather here has been colder than hell. ya ya i know hell is not cold but really when the high of the day is 7 come on. i just hope it warms up soon. i have had to leave the house with children in this wheather. but you know what is really funny. the kids see the sun shinning and think "oh i dont need a coat cuz the sun is out" ya and then they walk outside. its kinda funny. then they wonder why i say coats gloves and hats. anyway. been grocery shopping and took carter to get his pictures done this week along with seeing my new little neice. she is so cute and so small. nothing really exciting has been going on. but this weekend its party time with friends and football. go steelers..
