literacy luau

during this year the kids had a list of books to read for their reading program.  well if the kids read all the books they got to go to the luau as a reward.  i was able to go and volulteer and it was a great time..

dare graduation

well this week is a busy week for the dawson clan.  we started it off with wyatts dare graduation last night.  if u dont know what it is, it is a program they do for the 5th graders in this area.  it is to teach them to stay away from drugs and alcohol.  they have to sign a plegde and stick with it.  the local police also does some other activities too.  but it is a good way to help teach our kids that drugs and alcohol are not for us.. glad they did this program and proud of wyatt for saying he would stay away from them..

2nd half of sprig break

 the 2nd half of spring break was pretty fun.. we bbq because the wheather was so nice..

 doesnt that just look fabulous.. the kids also played some basketball with dad and the kids played outside some more..

 sat we went up to thayne and kiama's house.. its one of coreys brothers.  he graduated from byu-idaho on friday and we did a celebration on sat.. had some way yummy food..good laughs and conversations and an easter egg hunt for the kids..

everyone had a agreat time.. sunday we went to church and remebered the true meaning of easter.  it is about the death and resurection of our lord and savior. that it is a miracle and that one day we will be able to walk with him one day and to say thank you for all that he has done for us..

spring break---thus far

 

well this week is spring break for us.  the first couple days have not been bad.  the kids have played with friends and played outside.  tues we went to jensens grove and played for 2 hours and the kids had an absloute blast. we even got a little sun. we also have been to the library too.  today though it was the dentist.  we eneded up with 2 kids with cavities and 2 with not. thank goodness they are such a good office and deal with me and my children for 2 hours.. anyway hopefully the next few days go just as well.

spring fever

we have had spring fever really bad this past week.. the wheather has been absoutley gorgous.. the kids have played outside, we have been to the park and gone one walks.  on sat the kids played outside for hours with out complaint.  we have even done bbq on the grill.  but of course this is idaho so it will probably snow next week.  but thats ok we got a brake from the yucky wheather and have enjoyed it..

we had our family pictures taken by shira jorgensen on sunday.  she does this as a hobby and let me tell you she did an amazing job. i was so excited to get this and am so proud to show some of my favorites with you.  i hope you enjoy them just as much as i do..A-

mud pies

i was watching my friends kids today and they were playing outside.. well since it has been so nice everything is thawing.. well this is part of my backyard.. its muddy and dirty and the kids love it..they played in it for an hour and then is was bath time.. oh man were they dirty..you should have seen the bath water..A-
